Mock Tornado Watch and Warning Today

-Don’t forget, today there will be a mock tornado watch for the state.
Starting at 1:00 this afternoon, the National Weather Service will issue a mock tornado watch for all of Wisconsin. That means TV and radio stations will cut out of their regularly scheduled programming for about a minute and you will be told that this is a test.
At 1:45, a second alert will start. This one will be for a tornado warning. It will run the same as the previous alert.
Weather experts said you don't have to take shelter during this test. But it can be a good time to talk about what you and your family would do in case of an emergency.
