Resolution #9-4-12 Approved at Clark County Board Meeting

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors had a meeting on Tuesday.
After the new board members, from the recent election, were introduced and individuals elected into vacant positions, it was business as usual.
One item that was discussed at the meeting was the approving of resolution #9-4-12.
Resolution 9-4-12 is approving a grant application for the 2012-2013 snowmobile trail maintenance funding.
Clark County is eligible for annual funding of snowmobile trail maintenance at the rate of $250.00 per mile. The Clark County trails are extensive and attract a large number of users every year. Clark County, along with cooperating snowmobile clubs, currently maintains 377.5 miles of state funded snowmobile trails.
The board, recognizing the importance of our trails, did approve the measure and authorized the Parks and Programs Manager, of the Forestry and Parks Department, the authority to undertake action and approve the project.
