Sean Duffy Visits IMS

-Innovative Machine Specialists in Marshfield was paid a special visit Thursday afternoon by U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy.
Duffy, R-Weston, toured the company's facility, shaking hands with workers and learning about the technical processes of the stainless steel and plastic machinery parts manufacturer.
Duffy also congratulated the owners and employees on being named 2012 Firm of the Year by Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Duffy's office previously had sent a message congratulating Innovative on the MACCI award, but Duffy said he wanted to make sure he "stopped by" to tell the company in person.
"It's important to see shops that are excelling in quite a difficult (economic) environment," Duffy said.
