Abbotsford's 4th Adlerman

-Did anyone vote for a 4th alderman in the City of Abbotsford?
Yes they did, but in the recent elections, initial results reported by Clark County late Tuesday night indicated no one had voted for either Otto J. Raatz or Marty Schwantes in their contest for Abbotsford's District 4.
In reality, Schwantes defeated Raatz, 119 votes to 39.
There was miscommunication between Abbotsford and the county on election night and the contest's vote tally wasn't included in the county-wide results released Tuesday night.
Keep in mind, none of the recent winners can officially be certified until Monday because voters have until 5 p.m. Friday for mailed absentee ballots to arrive in clerks' offices. There are 19 outstanding absentee ballots in Clark County.
Losing candidates will have three days after votes are certified to request a recount.
