-Nature is an inspiration for artist Mary Hinkle of Neillsville.

According to the Marshfield News Herald, she's been an artist nearly all her life. Her early inspiration came from the time she spent in Clark County, visiting her mother's family in the Willard area.

Hinkle moved to rural Neillsville in 1991.

"The reason I moved here was to build a studio," she said. Her studio is called Golden Dreams Fine Art Studio, and it is where she also custom-frames art.
Golden Dreams is based on Hinkle's father's belief that he lived in the beautiful countryside of Neillsville in his golden years. Mary Hinkle, and her husband, Steve, own the property today.

"My family has been an inspiration," Hinkle said.

Hinkle's artwork, featuring pastels and water color paintings, called "Twenty Years of Seasons: Artist's personal vision of Wisconsin Landscape," will be featured at the LuCille Tack Center for the Arts in Spencer later this month.
