NGL Youth Wrestlers Are All-Americans

Youth wrestlers Luke Dux and Nick Rueth received All-American status at the U.S.A. Folkstyle Nationals in Cedar Falls, IA this past weekend.
Luke, a 1st grader, finished 4th while Nick, a 7th grader, also took 4th. The top 8 in each class were All-Americans. There were 1500 younger kids wrestling at Nationals.
In the older kids division, 1300 kids were participating. Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal's Phillip Opelt finished 3-2, Damien Luchterhand finished 0-2 and Jake Rueth finished with a record of 4-2.
An added extra treat for the youth was the chance to watch the Olympic wrestling trials which were going on in Cedar Falls as well.
