Gov. Walker Visits the Marshfield Clinic

-Gov. Scott Walker visited the Marshfield Clinic on Wednesday afternoon to sign three bills that he said will make health care delivery more efficient in Wisconsin.
According to the Marshfield News Herald, the first bill Walker signed allows electronic prescriptions instead of paper copies for controlled substances that have a medical use, but also a high potential for abuse and dependence.
The second bill enhances the authority of physician assistants, which will help the Marshfield Clinic meet patient needs even better.
The final bill Walker signed in Marshfield creates licensure requirements and practice standards for anesthesiologist assistants in Wisconsin.
