Memorial Medical Center Foundation Off to a Great Start

-The Memorial Medical Center Foundation is off to a great start.
The Foundation is proud to recognize the efforts and generosity of MMC’s board members and staff. Recently, they were asked to make a special commitment to the newly established Foundation. They responded with an extraordinary “kick-off” of donations.
“The idea behind the internal campaign was to give our employees and board members first chance to show their dedication to MMC through voluntary donations,” commented Shelley Stewart, Foundation Specialist. “To date, we have received over $23,000 in pledges and donations from our amazing staff and board members.”
Memorial Medical Center saw the need for a foundation several years ago as part of their “Vision 2015” strategic plan.
Dr. Tim Meyer, Chief Medical Officer at MMC and Foundation Board President said, “We all know how important it is to keep our health care local. By having a foundation, we can be proactive in securing support for our future here in Neillsville.”
The Foundation’s next steps include a formal campaign within the community to assist with general start-up and building improvements.
