Marshfiled Chamber Hosts Firm of the Year Dinner

-The Marshfield Chamber of Commerce held its Firm of the Year Dinner yesterday evening.
Ron Larson the executive director was very excited about the dinner. He said the benefits of having a dinner like this, “brings heightened awareness to the community and it helps celebrate award winning businesses for everything they do.”
Innovative Machine Specialists was named the 2012 Firm of the Year. A committee had the difficult task of choosing from several qualified candidates, by using strict criteria.
Some of the criteria the committee had to follow included being a Chamber of Commerce member, Expansion, Impact on the Community, and more.
Ron said, “IMS has shown great, continued growth, has shown expansion, and has helped community members provide for their families.”
High Street Salon and Spa was voted 2012 Small Business of the Year. They were chosen under similar criteria as IMS. Ron said that the spa “is active in the community, has had great success in the community and has innovated services.”
