Area Teams Ranked High in WBCA Pre-Season Poll

Some area high school teams are ranked high in the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association pre-season poll.
Marshfield returns most of their offense and are the pick to win the Valley, they are ranked #5 in Division 1 and Stevens Point is ranked #9.
Altoona returns almost every starter from last year and is ranked #1 in Division 2.
In Division 3, Marathon is ranked 16th, Fall Creek 18th, Pittsville 19th and Osseo-Fairchild 20th. Colby received honorable mention.
Greenwood returns and number of starters from a team that went 23-4 last year and won a Regional – they are ranked 2nd in Division 4. Chippewa Falls McDonell is ranked 4th, and Gilman is ranked 9th.
