Nancy Dean Named Greenwood's "Citizen of the Year"

-Nancy Dean is named “Citizen of the Year” by the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce at their annual dinner meeting on Sunday evening.
Pat Linder, the President of the Chamber of Commerce, was happy to tell me all about Nancy.
Nancy has been living in Greenwood since 1983 and has been the leader of the Girl Scouts since 1985 and continues to do it to this day. During the dinner, Nancy asked anyone if they’d like to take over for her. Surprisingly, nobody did.
Nancy also taught English part-time at the Loyal School District in the early 1990’s. She started Greenwood’s “Concert in the Park” series that happens every weekend in July. She has been doing that for 20 years.
Nancy likes to sew, walk, ride bike, listen to classical music, and is very active in the church.
Pat Linder went on to describe Nancy as a happy, friendly individual and a wonderful mother and housewife. Congratulations to Nancy Dean!
