Former Area Athletes Make WIAC All-Time Team

The WIAC has announced the Women's Basketball All-Time Team that will be recognized in conjunction with the conference's upcoming Centennial Celebration and some former area athletes are on the list.
Kristi Channing from Fall Creek who played with UW-Eau Claire from 2000-03
Julie Maki from Owen-Withee played with UW-Stout 1990-93
Amanda Nechuta of Mosinee played with UW-Stevens Point 2002-05 and
Erika Schmidt from Marshfield Columbus who played with UW-Eau Claire from 1994-97
All-Time Team members will receive certificates from the conference and it is hoped that most, if not all, of the recipients will be in attendance or represented at the WIAC Centennial Banquet to be held at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison on August 4, 2012.
