Pioneer Bank Comes to Greenwood

-The City of Greenwood has welcomed a new business.
A large group of citizens, board members, reporters, employees, and city council members huddled together in the windy and chilly morning air yesterday to welcome the Pioneer Bank to Greenwood.
Jeff Wienkirk, the CEO of Pioneer, welcomed everybody and went on to give a brief history of the bank. Pioneer Bank was founded over a hundred years ago when a group of farmers got together and decided they needed a bank to cater to them and thus, Pioneer was born.
Wienkirk went on to say just how much work and insight goes into setting up a business. He also thanked the city of Greenwood for allowing them to come in and stated that the city made them feel very welcome. He was very gracious for all the hard work his staff and the staff currently at the bank put in.
This branch of Pioneer Bank is their 10th location and the 1st in Greenwood.
