Woman's Vehicle Hit During Church Service

-A woman had her vehicle damaged in a hit and run accident.
Melanie Faust had her 4 door burgundy Lexis hit Sunday morning while she was a St. Mary’s Catholic Church. When Faust came out after the service, she saw the damage and her car had a note on it from an eyewitness saying it had been struck by a green Pontiac Montana van and the eyewitness had written down the vehicles license plate number.
However, the witness must have had the wrong license plate number because the one that had been given was registered to a white convertible and not a green van.
Faust was told about the license plate number and police are making every attempt to find the vehicle that hers.
