Local Man Makes a Bid for State Assembly

-A current school board member and former journalist has announced a bid for state Assembly.

Paul Knoff has launched a campaign for the 69th Assembly District, a seat that's currently held by Republican Scott Suder. Knoff, who plans to run as a Democrat, began a career in broadcast journalism at WCCN/WPKG Radio in Neillsville. He worked there for 17 years. He is currently a Granton School Board member.

Knoff has said that campaign finance reform would be a main focus of his candidacy.

He will officially launch his campaign Saturday, February 18th with stops in Curtiss, Neillsville and Marshfield.
