OBAMA AHEAD OF ROMNEY IN POLL

A new poll shows President Barack Obama is leading in Wisconsin for a potential general election matchup with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
The Marquette University Law School poll released today shows 48 percent of 701 registered voters picked Obama, compared to 40 percent for Romney. The poll has a 3.8 percentage-point margin of error.
Most interviews were done before Romney's Republican rival Newt Gingrich won last Saturday's primary in South Carolina. Wisconsin's presidential primary is April 3.
