WALTEMATE IS REGIONAL CHAMPION

Jacob Waltemate of Community Boxing Club is a Silver Gloves Regional Champion after competing in Rapid City, ND this past weekend.
Jacob competed with boxers from Minnesota, North Dakota, & South Dakota. He was matched in the finals with the South Dakota State Champion Joseph Poor Thunder. Poor Thunder refused to box Waltemate in the championship bout, leading Waltemate to win the Regional Championship by walk-over. He will be competing in the 14/15 year-old, 147 lb weight class, representing Region 4, with Team Wisconsin at the National Silver Gloves Tournament which be held Feb. 1st thru the 4th in Independence, Missouri.
Waltemate and Community Boxing Club would like to thank the individuals and local businesses for their continued outstanding support. Many local businesses donated to cover travel expenses to the Regional and National tournaments.
