FOOTBALL COACHING CHANGE IN NEILLSVILLE
Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 -- 10:08 am
Posted by Larry Hoeser, Sports Director

It looks like Neillsville’s football team will have a new coaching staff again next year.

According to school administrator John Gaier, administration informed head coach Troy Breitlow and his staff Tuesday that the district is reposting the positions.

The team is coming off of 2-7 season during Breitlow’s first year as coach.

Gaier said the move doesn’t reflect any impropriety on the part of the coaching staff, but the administration didn’t feel things went “as well as they possibly could have” last year.

The positions will be posted internally for five business days. If no one is found, the positions will be advertised outside of the school. Gaier says Breitlow and his staff will have the ability to reapply.
