Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 -- 8:52 am Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director
The Neillsville Fire Department spent about 45 minutes early Wednesday morning fighting a fire at a building used as a hunting cabin.
Neillsville Fire Chief Matt Meyer says the circumstances surrounding the fire at an abandoned farmhouse are suspicious.
They were paged out at around 12:55 a.m. to N5002 Resewood Avenue in the Town of Weston, just north of Neillsville. Upon arrival, they found a small fire in the building.
They spent about 45 minutes on the scene.
Meyer says the investigation has been turned over to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department.
