The Clark County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a hit-and-run accident with a twist.

The vehicle doing the hitting was a buggy.

According to dispatch reports, officers were called out Sunday night to a location near Willard. The caller said an Amish buggy had struck and damaged his vehicle and then took off.

We spoke with the victim Monday morning. He said he was parked at a stop sign when the buggy made too tight a turn, striking the right-side of his vehicle. It was unclear if the buggy operator realized the extent of the damage to the vehicle.

The victim doesn't hold any ill-will against the buggy operator, who he describes as a man with a beard, wearing a black hat.
