CHIMNEY FIRE NORTH OF NEILLSVILLE

A Town of Pine Valley home suffered minor damage from a chimney fire Saturday.
Fire Chief Matt Meyer says the crew was dispatched to N4371 Grand Avenue, one-half-mile north of the Neillsville city limits on Saturday afternoon.
The crew spent about 1 1/2 hours on the scene extinguishing the blaze and making sure it didn't restart.
The home suffered some minor structural and smoke damage.
