We have a correction to make about a story we ran Wednesday.
The story about the changes to the Neillsville Taxi Service implied there will no longer be a 2nd “back-up” taxi running during the week.
That is not accurate.
The back-up taxi operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The city budget, which is up for adoption next week, includes the elimination of one hour of service for the 2nd taxi on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
The taxi service will continue to operate from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
