GRANTON SCHOOL BOARD TO MAKE DECISION

After months of investigation, the Granton School Board is expected to announce their plans for next school year at their regular board meeting Tuesday night.
The Board planned to reach an agreement to send their high school students to a different school beginning in September of 2012.
Other states allow schools to reorganize this way. The arrangement is known as “whole grade sharing.” It’s never been done in Wisconsin and state statute only specifically allows districts to reorganize through consolidation or dissolution.
The school board meeting is slated for tonight at 6:45 p.m.
