VESPER MAN ACCUSED OF ASSAULTING A STUDENT

A Stevens Point teacher is in jail on charges he sexually assaulted a student.
Paul Peterson, 39, of Vesper is held on a $250,000 cash bond.
According to court documents, the teenage girl told authorities that Peterson, a technology education teacher, had sexual contact with her four or five times this year; Peterson admitted having intercourse with the girl.
