The case against Eric Koula continues to move forward.

The 41-year-old Neillsville High School graduate is accused of killing his parents, Dennis and Merna Koula, in May of last year. He told authorities he found their bodies in their Town of Barre home.

The La Crosse Tribune reports attorneys don’t anticipate any more delays in the case, which is scheduled for a motions hearings on October 31 and a 2 ½ week jury trial from December 5 to December 21.

Motions in the case must be filed by October 1.

Prosecutors allege Koula shot his parents and forged a $50,000 check to himself.
