MARRIAGE FEES GOING UP?

It will likely cost a bit more to get married in Clark County.
Meeting Tuesday morning, the Clark County Executive Committee forwarded a resolution to the full County Board that would hike the marriage license fee from $75 to $85.
County Clerk Christina Jensen said the move would help her offset a $3,500 budget shortfall.
She said she handles about 200 marriage licenses every year and the $85 charge would still be comparable to the fees in surrounding counties.
