Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

Rural Clark County residents may be eligible for zero-interest, deferred payment loans to improve their properties. The Clark County Housing Authority is accepting applications for home improvement and first-home buyer assistance. The loans are paid back when the property is no longer the homeowner’s primary residence. Some improvements allowed are: wells, septic systems, roofs, siding, wiring, windows, doors, plumbing, insulation, foundation repair, furnaces and handicapped accessibility. The loans are subject to the applicant meeting certain income guidelines. For more information, you can contact the CCHA at 267-7356.
