HUNTER INJURED AFTER FALL FROM TREE

The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a hunting accident Friday evening. According to fire chief Matt Meyer, the department received a report of a hunter who fell out of a tree. The mishap occurred at around 6:30 p.m. at N3841 Collier (col-yer) Avenue in the Town of Hewitt. The crew used an ATV to rescue the man. He was airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield with unknown injuries. The crew spent about an hour on the scene.
