A California man is being held on a $250,000 cash bond after a routine traffic stop in Abbotsford turned up about 10-pounds of cocaine.

Prosecutors say it’s one of the larges cocaine busts in Clark County history.

Jesse Galaviz of El Monte, California was picked up on Tuesday afternoon after an officer observed him driving erratically.

The officer deployed a police dog, who indicated there were drugs in the vehicle.

The officer searched the truck, which was registered in Arizona, and found 6 “bricks” of cocaine.

Officials estimate the street value of the drug at over $600,000.

Galaviz is charged with possession with intent to deliver. He could spend up to 40 years in prison.
