NORTH BEATS SOUTH IN NWL ALL-STAR GAME

Just over 2400 were in attendance last night as the North beat the South in the Northwoods League All-Star game at Witter Field in Wisconsin Rapids. Blake Scwartz of the Mankato Moondogs was the winning pitcher. Ben Ballantine of Battle Creek took the loss. Dan Olinger of the Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers was the leading hitter in the game going 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Former Brewers great and Hall of Famer Paul Molitor was the guest of honor at the Northwoods League All-Star Game in
Wisconsin Rapids on Monday. Teams will get back into action on Wednesday.
