PORTION OF HWY 97 TO CLOSE

Crews plan to close WIS 97 between Wood County AAA and Marathon County T beginning Monday at noon. The closure is necessary to facilitate traffic for Farm Technology Days. During the closure, WIS 97 traffic will be detoured via Marathon County C and Marathon County E. The highway is scheduled to reopen at noon on Friday. Motorists should plan ahead for potential delays and are reminded to be alert for slow moving vehicles and event traffic. To avoid any potential delays motorists may want to use alternate routes.
