ONE DEAD IN SUNDAY NIGHT FIRE IN E.C.

A man has died in a duplex fire in Eau Claire.
The fire was reported at around 9 p.m. on Sunday on the city's north side. It caused the roof to collapse, making a rescue effort difficult.
The fire caused around $40,000 of damage to the structure.
The cause has not been reported.
