A Montana man charged in a crash that killed a man from Black River Falls in Great Falls, MT has pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide while under the influence.
Loren Joseph Spottedeagle, 26, entered his plea Thursday for the June 3 crash that killed 23-year-old Jason Jowett of Black River Falls.
Prosecutors allege Spottedeagle was driving a minivan that rear-ended a pickup truck, causing a crash that killed Jowett, a passenger in the pickup.
Witnesses told officers Spottedeagle had been kicked out of a bar and hit a car in the parking lot just minutes before the fatal crash.
His trial is set for Sept. 26.
