KRAUS DECISION COMING SOON

We should learn soon if the case against the former director of Marshfield Community Development will go to trial or if a plea deal will be reached.
The Marshfield NewsHerald reports there was a pre-trial conference in the case against Tim Kraus on Wednesday. His attorney said he and his client would decide by the end of the week if Kraus would agree to a plea bargain, or head to a jury trial.
Kraus allegedly embezzled more than $5,000 from the agency between June 2008 and July 2009.
He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
