GREENWOOD CLINIC WILL REMAIN OPEN

Memorial Medical Center’s Clinic in Greenwood will remain open.
The board of the Neillsville-based health care provider had been mulling the future of the satellite location since they were informed the facility's nurse practioner was leaving her post.
They held a community meeting in Greenwood three weeks ago, and say the public support for maintaining a presence there has been “overwhelming.”
The Clinic has been closed since March 28th, but will reopen as early as June. Greenwood resident, Rod Hickman, will work one day in Greenwood. Newly-hired Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife Rebecca Gilbertson will staff the remaining three days.
