4-H VOLLEYBALL TOURNEY HELD

Forty-three teams (20 – A league; 12 – B league, and 11 – C league) participated in the annual 4-H Volleyball Tournament on April 9 – 10 at the Neillsville School. The first place winners were:

A League – Greenwood Satellites / Corner Clovers #1: Team members included Katie Stamp, Paige Lindner, Rachel Morrow, Staci Suda, Katrina Peterson, Isaac and Jacob Welsh. They were coached by Matt Welsh.

B League – Chili: Team members included Alex, Derrick, and Jeremy Brost, Taylor Martin, Brittany Mayer, Roberto Melero, Cassie Pettit, Skylar Sautter, Chase Seubert, Hunter and Montana Wagner. They were coached by Bob Brost.

C League – Reseburg Ramblers #2: Team members included Lance and McKenzie Hempleman, Kaitlyn and Alex Tyznik, Kelly Fazendin, Daniel and Rachel Boehlke, Kyle Noah, and Dylan Neisius. They were coached by Al and Dezilyn Tyznik.

Sportsmanship awards were given to:

· A League – Parks Happy 13

· B League – Greenwood Satellites 1 – 2 – 3

· C League – Pleasant Ridge/Romadka

Thank you to Neillsville School for the use of their facilities, and to the many volunteer referees and line judges who did an excellent job.
