$4 GAS ISN'T FAR AWAY

Gas prices continue their ascent around the state.
According to Wisconsin AAA, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded around the state is $3.68. Locally, drivers are paying closer to $3.72 per gallon.
The average price has jumped a dime from last week and .20-cents in the past month. The price is up .81-cents, or nearly 30%, in the past year.
Wisconsingasprices.com reports regular unleaded is going for as much as $3.89 per gallon at stations in Elk Mound and Milwaukee.
