STATE SPELLING BEE TODAY

A local student will try to spell her way to Washington D.C. today.
Neillsville 7th grader Kristen Apolinario won the regional spelling bee last month in
Thorp and will compete today at the Badger State Spelling Bee at Anderson Auditorium
at Edgewood College in Madison.
The winner of the 2011 Badger State Spelling Bee will represent Wisconsin and advance
to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. on June 1st and 2nd.
