REGIS AND ALTOONA ADVANCE TO CHAMPIONSHIPS

Eau Claire Regis and Altoona have advanced to the championship games in their respective divisions after winning in the semi-finals. Regis (26-1) was a winner, in overtime, over Westby on Thursday 57-51 in a Division 4 semi-final. Heather Bowe led the way for the Ramblers with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Regis will now play Algoma in the Division 4 championship on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, Altoona (20-7) advanced to the Division 3 championship with a 48-34 semi-final win on Friday morning over Prairie du Chien. Kayla Springer led the Railroaders with 18 points. Altoona will now play the winner of the Kewaunee vs. Dominican matchup on Saturday in the championship. More stats can be found online at wiaawi.org.
