MINOR FIRE IN NEILLSVILLE HOME

The Neillsville Fire Department was called to the scene of a minor kitchen fire Monday.
Fire Chief Matt Meyer says the crew was called out at 5:35 p.m. to a home at 505 West 5th street. Two children were cooking something on the stove when they touched of a grease fire.
There was no visible fire by the time crews arrived. They spent about 15 minutes on the scene. There minimal smoke damage in the kitchen.
