NEILLSVILLE VS. ALTOONA IN SECTIONAL SEMI-FINAL

It will be Neillsville (24-0) vs. Altoona (17-7) in a Sectional-Final in girls basketball this Thursday night in Osseo. The Warriors are coming off a Regional Championship in Holmen where they beat West Salem on Saturday night 52-23, while Altoona beat Mondovi 62-38 to win the New Richmond Regional. Altoona knocked Neillsville out of the tournament 3 years ago in a Sectional Final to deny the Warriors their 3rd straight trip to State. Game time Thursday is 7 pm and advanced tickets are on sale at the Neillsville High School office from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm thru Wednesday. Tickets are $4. You can hear the action live on 92.7 FM WPKG. Winner will advance to the Sectional Final on Saturday night at Chippewa Falls against either Amery or Ladysmith.
