GRANTON RECOUNT PLANNED

We've received the official word that there’s been a formal request for a recount of the Granton School Board Primary. It will be conducted Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. in the Board Office. That election was held last week The ballot directed voters to choose 4 candidates; it should have read “vote for not more than 2” candidates. According to the Government Accountability Board, the recount is the first step in a process by which a candidate could eventually petition Clark County Circuit Court for a re-vote.
