WINTER STORM TO AFFECT AREA

A major winter storm is poised to affect the area on Sunday. Winter storm watches and warnings have been posted for the area through Monday morning. The storm has abundant gulf moisture associated with it and could potential drop 6 to 15 inches along and north of Interstate 90. The snow will likely be the wet heavy variety as temperatures will be around 30 degrees. If you are traveling south on Sunday be prepared for some freezing rain and sleet and rain to mix into the storm on Sunday afternoon as well.
