LOYAL BOARD EXPECTED TO APPROVE REFERENDUM DETAILS

The Loyal School Board is expected to approve the wording of a revenue cap exemption referendum Wednesday night.
According to the agenda of a special meeting, the board will consider a referendum asking the district’s voters for the ability to exceed the state-imposed revenue cap by $350,000 for the 2012-13 school year, $550,000 for the 2013-14 and $750,000 for the 2014-15 school year.
This will be the third revenue cap exemption attempt for Loyal in recent years. The previous attempts have failed.
The referendum will be decided on April 5th.
