Thursday, September 22nd, 2005 -- 1:59 pm
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

The 160 employees of Weather Shield’s Greenwood facility continue efforts to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Weather Shield Lite Foundation has set up drop off sites for donated items for Katrina victims. The sites are located at the Greenwood IGA, Loyal Foods and at Marty’s Grocery here in Neillsville. There are boxes or carts near the check out areas at these three grocery stores, marked for the Hurricane Katrina collection. They’re looking for non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies and school supplies. These donations will be sent down to Salvation Army warehouses along the Gulf Coast. All items at the listed drop off points will be picked up at noon this Saturday.
