KEEP RESCUE WORKERS IN MIND WHILE SHOVELING
Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011 -- 10:12 am

As the snow continues to pile up around Wisconsin, a local fire department is reminding you to keep them in mind.

Jeff Strangfeld of the of Neillsville Fire Department says he’s been noticing driveways and yards where the snow has been piling up, and that could be a problem if there’s a fire. He just wanted us to encourage folks to make sure when they’re plowing or shoveling that they leave ample room for fire and rescue vehicles.

Officials also remind you to keep vents free from snow.
