ROLLER RINK FIRE AN ACCIDENT

A fire at a Hatfield roller rink has been deemed accidental.
According to the Eau Claire Leader Telegram, investigators believe the fire at Club Twilight Roller Rink was caused by a shop light in a utility room.
The light apparently turned on when one of the owners was adjusting a fan. They didn’t see the light was on because it was lying underneath a dust collection bag. The heat from the light bulb apparently ignited the collection bag.
The fire damage is estimated at more than $300,000 to both structure and contents.
