A man charged with shooting and killing a Jackson County man will stand trial for the crime.

Aaron Powers, 23, faces first-degree intentional homicide charges along with four counts of burglary and other felony charges.

Authorities say he shot 56-year-old Terrance Stoen at his home in North Bend.

A Jackson County judge ruled Thursday there is enough evidence for Powers to stand trial. He is being held on a $1-million bond in the Jackson County Jail.
