THIEF STEALS THOUSANDS FROM CHURCH

Officials at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Chippewa Falls say some one took thousands of dollars from them. Some of it was intended for an orphanage in Peru.
Father William Felix says the congregation is "sickened" by the theft of money collected during six Christmas services.
The church is mailing letters to all church members so they can cancel checks or protect their account information as necessary.
