JAIL INMATE BREAKS BOTH ANKLES

An inmate at the Eau Claire County jail recently broke both ankles by jumping off a 14-foot high railing.
Now, Christopher Fischer, 30, is in back in jail because he allegedly lied to the investigating officers.
He said he injure himself by falling out of the top bunk of his cell a few months ago while serving two months for theft.
But investigators now say witnesses claim Fischer took the leap to win a $20 to $25 bet.
The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram says he has now been arrested on tentative charges of obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.
